General Liability and Property

  • GL is not available unless we also write the Property coverage
  • Actual Cash Value Coverage
  • Replacement Cost available for buildings 10 yrs and newer
  • Applicable States: ALL except AL, IL, KY, MS and WV
    Eligible properites
  • Vacant or unoccupied buildings - Commercial or Residential
  • Dwellings: Minimum $200,000 property value - Basic Perils Only
  • Dwellings/Commercia buildings undergoing renovations - (GL in the name of the owner only not in name of contractor)
  • Classifications
  • 68604 Vacant Buildings - factories
  • 68606 Vacant Buildings - not factories - Other Than Not-For-Profit
  • 68607 Vacant Buildings - not factories - Not-For-Profit Only
  • 91583 Contractors-subcontracted work-in connection with building construction, reconstruction, repair or erection-one or two family dwellings.
  • 91585 Contractors-subcontracted work-in connection with construction, re-construction or erection of buildings
  • Policies can be written on a 3, 6, 9 or 12 month term. Policy extentions are available however no risk will be insured for more than a total of two years.
  • Renewals
  • Renewals will be offered on a 6 month or 12 month basis, same as initial term of coverage.
  • Minimum Premium
  • General Liability $250
  • Property             $1,000
  • Minimum Earned Premium
  • 50% at inception for 6 month policy
  • 25% at inception for Annual policy

    Applications:
    • Suggested minimum lead-time on submissions is 14 days prior to effective date
    • Quotation turnaround time is 48 hours after receipt of complete submissions
    • Quotations are transmitted to agents via e-mail
    • Proposals will include all coverage components, limits, premium and cost summaries
    • Quotations will also include binding instructions, including time frame, and required documents
